Aikido and Selfdefense in Schönengrund
Youth training from 10 years has started
Youth training from 10 to 18 years.
Youth training has started. More children are welcome to join, registration is required.
The training sessions last about an hour. The focus is on basic aikido techniques, weapon work and ukemi (how to roll and fall).
The first two to three trial sessions are free of charge. The cost is 125 francs.

Spring: Self-defense course 2025

We will do another course next spring. If you or your daughter would like to take part: Please register for 2025.

Aikido seminar on May 24th in Schönengrund
The Aikido seminar will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025 in Schönengrund. It will be led by Amadea Thoma (4th DAN, ACSA) from the Aikido School St. Gallen and Monika Dörig.
The first two lessons are particularly suitable for children aged 10 and over, so that young Aikidoka can also actively participate.
The focus will be on training with Jo and Bokken.
If the weather cooperates, we are planning a hike in Appenzell on Sunday. Those who would like to stay overnight have the option of sleeping in a tree tent – a very special experience!
